Hi, I'm Claire
What began as a pursuit of one unforgettable scent became a journey to create fragrance that feels both beautiful and conscious. A celebration of words, emotion, and the senses.
I was born in England and now call Sydney home. For years, I followed a corporate path that never quite felt like mine. After countless restructures and lockdowns, I began to crave something more creative, something that truly reflected who I am and what I value.
I have always been drawn to words,
how they move us, linger, and shape how we feel. Scent has always felt the same to me, like language without letters. Both have the power to tell stories, evoke emotion, and connect us to memory.
One day, I reached for a small bottle of “Sunshine”.
A perfume oil I had bought years ago in Ibiza. Just one breath of it filled me with joy, freedom, and light. I became obsessed with finding out what was in it and how I could possibly recreate it. After some digging, I learned it had come from a mysterious woman selling oils from the back of a camel in the desert of Pushkar, India. True story.
Even the boutique in Ibiza could no longer source it. But rather than let it fade, the mystery deepened my curiosity. It sparked what I now call The Pursuit of Sunshine. That pursuit became the seed of noun collection, a journey to capture emotion through scent and find meaning in the unseen.
Life then gave me even more reason to create consciously. I was diagnosed with a hormone-disrupted form of breast cancer, a type that is sadly on the rise among younger women. That experience changed everything. It made me deeply aware of what I put on my body and reaffirmed my commitment to creating products that are as safe as they are beautiful.
I wanted to craft fragrance that feels luxurious yet mindful, something thoughtful, transparent, and alive with meaning. Perfumes that honour both beauty and wellbeing.
That became [noun] collection.
A series of clean, considered perfumes inspired by words, emotion, and the way scent can move us.
